VPN Protectify app icon VPN for iPhone & iPad

One tap, and you stop browsing from your own address.

VPN Protectify encrypts the traffic leaving your device and routes it out through a location you choose. Nothing about where that traffic goes is written down.

No sign-up. No email address needed to connect.

What it does

Small app, narrow job.

Protectify encrypts your connection and changes where it comes out. That is the whole of it, and it is what a VPN is actually for.

01

Encrypted connection

Traffic is encrypted between your device and the server you select, through the VPN facilities iOS provides. On shared or public Wi-Fi that is the difference that matters most.

02

A different address

Sites see the address of the server you exit from rather than the one your provider gave you. The app shows you both, so you can check it actually changed.

03

One control

One button connects and disconnects. Optimal Location picks the nearest available server if you would rather not choose, and switching takes a single tap.

Locations

Come out somewhere else.

Every location works the same way: encrypted on the way in, and no record of what passed through. Pick a country by hand, or let Optimal Location do it.

Available locations change as capacity is added or servers go out for maintenance. The list in the app is always the current one.

Privacy

A no-logs claim means nothing until it says what it covers.

So here it is in specific terms. None of the following is recorded, stored, or held in aggregate on our side.

The other half

And what the app does report.

Claiming to collect nothing at all would not be true, so we won't. The app sends back a small amount of technical information so it can be kept working and so subscriptions function. None of it describes your traffic.

Support

Write to us and a person answers.

[email protected]

Include your iOS version, your device model, the app version, and — if the connection is the problem — which location you were on and what kind of network. That usually saves an entire round of questions. First reply is normally within 1–2 business days.

Questions

Before you connect.

Does a VPN make me anonymous?

No, and no VPN does. It encrypts the connection and changes the address you appear to come from. It does not undo accounts you are signed into, cookies already on your device, or anything you type into a form yourself. Treat any app that promises complete anonymity with suspicion.

Do I need an account to connect?

No. Access to paid features is checked against the App Store purchase on your device, so there is no registration step, no password and no profile.

What is the email leak check for?

It checks an address you enter against known data-breach records, so you can see whether it has turned up in one. It is a separate, optional tool — the VPN works without ever touching it, and the address you enter is used for that check only. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Why does iOS ask to add a VPN configuration?

Because it is the only route iOS gives an app for handling traffic. The prompt comes from iOS rather than from us, and every VPN app on the platform triggers it. You can remove the configuration at any time in Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.

Will it slow my connection down?

Some overhead is unavoidable, since traffic is encrypted and travels further. How noticeable it is depends on your own connection and how far the server is. Picking a closer location usually helps most.

How do I cancel a subscription?

In the Settings app: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then VPN Protectify, then Cancel. Apple manages subscriptions, so deleting the app does not cancel one. Full detail is on the Support page.
